Thomas Peter Limberger is a German industrial and restructuring expert and manager. In 1994 he concluded his studies with “Finance and Strategic Management” with a Master of Business Administration, Institut Superieur de Gestion, Harvard Business School. After his MBA, he began his professional career at Fresenius. Following the takeover of National Medical Care in the USA to create Fresenius Medical Care AG, Limberger held various management roles until 2001.
In 2002 he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of General Electric Germany where he doubled the regional revenues to USD 6.5 billion. In 2005 he became Chief Executive Officer of OC Oerlikon AG. It was under his management that Oerlikon’s value increased from 1.8b to 10.1b CHF in three years.
Since 16 August 2007 he has been Chief Executive of Von Roll Holding AG. Multiple acquisitions were carried out in the following year within the framework of the strategic realignment of the company, and the corporate portfolio was expanded by a leading manufacturer of power transformers.
In 2011 Thomas created the leading performance equity company, SilverArrow Holding AG, to focus on technology acquisitions in Europe creating value to investors and partners by executing a proven antagonistic activist fund investment strategy in industrial growth companies. SilverArrow excels by implementing an operational excellence program with a clear top-line growth focus into the invested portfolio.
In addition, he was a member of the supervisory board of SGS (Societe Generale de Surveillance) and Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts in Switzerland. Thomas is a graduated member of the Herbert Quandt BMW Foundation and has achieved the highest recognition level as “World Young Leader”. He is a member of the World Economic Forum in Davos and Clinton Global Initiative.
