Working Visit of President Petar Stoyanov to Azerbaijan

Upon the invitation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation – CGDC Petar Stoyanov arrived in Baku on the 10th of October, to participate in the International Humanitarian Forum “XXI Century: Hopes and Challenges” and to give a speech on the problems and achievements of multiculturalism. The Forum, which was organized to comprehensively consider the humanitarian aspect of new challenges of the XXI century was attended by many current and former politicians, preeminent scientists and leaders of nongovernmental organizations.

In the framework of his visit, President Stoyanov also met President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan’s First Lady H. E. Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva. During the meeting held at the office of the most influential and biggest foundation of the country, Presidents exchanged views on the present and future activities of their organizations, discussed similarities in their objectives and goals, as well as possibilities of future cooperation in different areas.
